Although not fully the main cause of all conflicts, ethnic has made a big impact on recent conflicts among nations and countries due to the complexity of ethnics. Having different and diverse cultural traits among the world, people are having trouble to cope with each other as some appose others. India-Pakistan Conflict, one of the recent crisis, is a great instance of how and why ethnic conflicts arise.
Two major religions, Hinduism(India) and Muslims(Pakistan), has been the main reason for the conflicts/wars within the countries and the ongoing and present controversy. The two countries have been battling against each other for centuries(the four wars). The previous conflict started when Muslim expanded into the India Peninsula and threatened the Hinduism's ways of life. Violence often started when two religions encountered. The modern conflict occurred when the British parted from India as the republic of India and Pakistan have formed. Even after the British has parted, one-third of British India Muslims remained in India. Internal violence arises within Muslims and Hinduism many times due to the different belief systems. Islam is monotheistic, anti-idolatrous, doctrinal, with strong ideas about heresy. Hinduism is pantheistic, immense aggregation of different gods, superstitions, and beliefs.
But what really is the beginning of the conflict crisis is the contention of Jammu-Kashmir where India controls 2/3 and Pakistan controls the rest. Two of the three wars were fought in Kashmir.
Despite years after wars, Pakistan and India are still competing at the nuclear brink causing increase loss of life and property.
